Your practical questions about Paradies Garten, answered.
Paradies Garten
Located in an idyllic castle park, long since forgotten by the outside world, lies a lush garden surrounded by unique nature. As we navigate through the park, by derelict buildings and relics of the past, towards an abandoned castle, our curiosity grows and the dissonance of real life fades into the night.
Together, let's envision a vibrant community where diversity thrives, fostering meaningful conversations and unforgettable connections. Picture a place pulsating with the unique energy ignited when people unite through music—a collective journey that delves into the essence of sound, evoking profound emotions and radiating boundless optimism for the future.
It is a magical gathering of extraordinary people, a deep connection among like-minded individuals dancing to the captivating sounds of the world's best electronic artists. Good times lie ahead, and everyone's invited!
Our goals
Paradies Garten is committed to driving the shift towards greater environmental responsibility in our society. Sustainability is ingrained in our DNA, guiding us to minimize our ecological footprint from inception. Moreover, we're dedicated to bolstering Austria's local music scene, considering it integral to our mission to showcase a diverse lineup of artists spanning the club and underground music spectrum at our festival.
Our aim is to cultivate an atmosphere that delivers a profound and uplifting experience, meticulously crafted through attention to detail in production, line-up curation, and communication while keeping focus on the essence of the festival journey: a fired-up dance floor full of energy and happy faces.
Paradies Garten Festival is a daytime focused experience, ensuring lively dance floors from noon onwards. This approach not only fosters the discovery of talented emerging artists, a cause close to our hearts, but also demonstrates respect for our local community and their need for peace and tranquility.
A greener festival
At each event, our priority is to minimize our environmental impact by focusing on three key factors: 1) reducing CO2 emissions, 2) implementing effective waste management strategies to minimize waste, and 3) raising awareness about climate issues. Through these principles, we aim to foster a vibrant and inclusive community around our festival, while forging sustainable connections with our neighbors and partners.
The organizers of Paradise Garden have a proven track record in sustainable event management, having successfully hosted the Paradise City Festival near Brussels since 2015. Paradise City has garnered international acclaim for its environmental stewardship and has held the title of the most sustainable festival in the global industry since 2024. Awarded four stars from the esteemed "Greener Festival Award" for the third consecutive time, Paradise City stands among only six festivals worldwide with this prestigious rating.

Camping Accommodations

Whether you opt for a Pre-set Tent, Igloo Tent, or Comfort Cabin, we've got you covered - quite literally! Simply drop off your luggage upon arrival, and you're all set to embark on your festival adventure.
Please note that all camping packages are only valid in combination with a Festival Pass + Camping ticket, which must be purchased separately. If you've reserved a Pre-set Tent, Igloo Tent, or Comfort Cabin, kindly check in with our camping reception upon arrival, ensuring you have your ticket(s) at the ready. Visit our Camping Page to see our options.
Upon registration at our reception, a deposit for your rented accommodation is required. We kindly request all guests to treat our equipment with care. Conveniently settle your deposit "cashlessly" using your debit or credit card. As long as the tent is left in a suitable condition, you'll receive the full deposit amount back at the end of your stay.
Tents
With a camping ticket, you can bring your own tent or check into one of our pre-pitched tents, which you can obtain from our ticket shop.
Waste deposit
Located within a pristine and protected nature park, our camping grounds adhere to a strict "leave no trace" policy, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
To underscore our commitment to sustainability, we kindly request a € 7,00 waste deposit upon entry to our camping grounds, payable with your debit, credit card or other cashless payment forms. In exchange, you'll receive a rubbish bag and a deposit voucher from our team.
We urge you to use this bag to collect your waste throughout your stay. Upon departure, simply return a waste bag that is at least half full, along with your deposit voucher, to receive a full refund of your deposit. Together, let's keep our natural surroundings clean and pristine for future generations to enjoy.
Alcohol
As a small independent event we need bar sales to keep the festival alive. The elaborate woodland site and production-heavy nature of Paradies Garten Festival means it’s very expensive to make the festival happen, and thus we have to stipulate a limit on alcohol brought into the site (most small festivals have this policy).
The personal allowance is 8 cans of beer/ lager, cider OR 8 cans of pre-mixed cocktails/spirit OR 1 bottle of wine per person. No spirits are allowed. All glass must be decanted and we ask that you limit the amount of plastic you bring and use a reusable bottle. Thanks for your understanding.
The Breakfast Buffet
Included in your camping ticket: a wide variety of tasty, nutritious and healthy options, will be open on Saturday & Sunday from 8.30-11.30 and on Monday from 8.30-11.00.
Food
You are allowed to bring your own food, but there is a free breakfast at our campsite and plenty of choice when it comes to food on the festival site. Are you on a special diet? No problem. We offer many vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options.
Cooking at the campsite
Open fires, camping cookers and BBQs are not allowed. We make sure that there are enough food trucks available to satisfy every appetite.
Showers & toilets
Our campsite is equipped with toilets and hot showers. You can use them 24/7 for free. Keep in mind that there may be a queue in the morning.
Electricity
Back to basics. Camping as it should be: There is no electricity near your tent. That's why we ask you to leave your computer and large sound systems at home. There are sockets for hair straighteners, hairdryers and razors at the showers.
Mobile phone charger
You can hire/purchase a portable charger near the lockers.
Other liquids
You are allowed to bring 1 deodorant spray or perfume per person, but not if it is in a glass container. Flammable liquids are not allowed on the campsite.
Large items
To make your camping experience as comfortable as possible, you can bring folding chairs, pillows, blankets, air mattresses and cool boxes (no dry ice) in addition to your tents.
Please note that the entrance gates to the campsite are only 90cm wide and you are not allowed to bring wider trolleys.
You may also bring a small, foldable umbrella as long as it does not have a sharp tip.
Portable speakers
We strive to maintain good relations with our festival neighbors, hence we prohibit high-volume and block parties on our campsite. However, feel free to bring along small, battery-powered speakers with a maximum volume of 70 dB(A). If you're unsure about the size of your speaker, don't hesitate to reach out and ask us via email at info@paradiesgartenfestival.at.
Prohibited items
For your safety, it is not permitted to bring the following items onto the campsite: Scissors, glass bottles of any kind, candles, torches, dry ice, fireworks, oil lamps, gas lamps or laughing gas (nitrous oxide cartridges). Your safety is our utmost priority. To ensure a secure environment for everyone, all individuals and belongings are subject to inspection upon entry, including luggage.
