Flo Real

Formerly known as "da nightnurse," Flo Real is a soulful DJ and producer whose musical roots run deep in the sounds of the 70s and 80s, drawing inspiration from r'n'b, soul, funk, disco, and reggae—much of which was passed down through her West African father's extensive vinyl collection. Florence’s musical journey began in the golden age of hip hop and was shaped by legendary radio shows like Gilles Peterson's Worldwide. She soon expanded her sound, blending soulful, jazz-infused electronic beats with an unmistakable afro-funk groove. Having worked at Kruder & Dorfmeister’s G-Stone Recordings and becoming a key figure in the Dub Club Vienna family, Florence's rise continued as she joined Moodymann's Mahogani Music in 2010, touring internationally. A core member and resident DJ of the popular collective "A Party Called JACK," Flo Real continues to captivate audiences with her passion for "THAT GOOD STUFF" and her healing, electrifying sets.
